Median is an oversized scarf, knit along its length. Short rows are used to create wedges that are simple to work, but cause the colours to taper in triangular shapes that oppose each other. Even though your rows will start out very long, they quickly shorten and build up fabric easily.
The design was inspired by the way I saw a surfboard painted, with stripes that ran on angles.
It was only natural to pair it with the intensely saturated colours available in the Yarns of Rhichard Devrieze.
The Stippled variety adds great interest to simple textures.
