I am excited to announce the publication of my first book – although it has been a long road to get here, making it took very little time.
I started in July of this summer, and have worked on it almost every day since.
It is a collection of 12 knitting patterns that have been designed with a heavy focus on texture and creative shaping, while showcasing the work of many talented Canadian dyers and small mills. The yarns chosen for this book have been selected due to their ecologically sound practices. There are yarns from a small farm in Ontario, and dyers who have chosen to find ways to reduce waste, reuse water, and avoid the chemicals typically used in the industry.
Architexture: Shape and Surface is scheduled to launch on October 18, 2018.
Printed copies will first be available exclusively at Eweknit during a launch party that evening from 6pm-9pm.
You can pre-order a copy, to be shipped shortly after the first run of prints arrives on the 18th.
Architexture: Shape and Surface will be available as an Ebook on Ravelry on October 18th.
